In the aftermath of Max Holloway’s stunning victory at UFC 300, the celebrations spilled over into some unexpected places. These included a private poker table hosted by none other than billionaire, Mark Zuckerberg.

Holloway was fresh off his thrilling knockout of Justin Gaethje. He had hardly caught his breath when the Meta founder approached him with an intriguing proposition. The billionaire congratulated him on his performance and also invited him to his private poker table.

Max Holloway was clearly caught off guard, and could only muster a bemused chuckle. He had just been through 5 rounds of intense back-and-forth with one of the most violent fighters in the UFC. He however handled the proposition with grace and thanked Zuckerberg for offering.

Mark Zuckerberg is an avid combat sports fan. He has trained with the likes of Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovksi. He even walked out with Volkanovski at the UFC 298 event. Zuckerberg also won a silver medal at his first BJJ tournament. The Meta founder is usually present at the UFC PPV events, the most recent of which was the famed UFC 300.

Max Holloway and Justin Gaethje went to war for the BMF title. As the chaos unfolded inside the Octagon, one of the most unexpected reactions came from an unlikely source – Mark Zuckerberg. The Meta founder was seated cage side. He couldn’t contain his excitement as Holloway landed a stunning knockout blow on Gaethje in the final seconds.

Cameras caught Zuckerberg with hands on his head and his mouth agape, completely captivated by the action. And who could blame him? The sequence that unfolded was the stuff of pure MMA magic. Holloway was on his way to a decision victory, yet he invited Gaethje to a good old-fashioned brawl in the final seconds.
