Bobby Green just scored his first win of 2024 at UFC 300. After beating UFC veteran Jim Miller, Green is now eyeing up-and-coming UFC star Paddy Pimblett. Pimblett called Green out last year and has now sent Paddy his callout message for a showdown in the United Kingdom this July.
Bobby Green won against Jim Miller by unanimous decision. During his post-fight interview, Green called out Paddy Pimblett and declared their potential showdown this year.
I’m just getting started. Paddy how dare you, you slimy sugary snake, how dare you call my name. I’m coming after you. July I’m coming to your backyard in front of your people, to kick your a*s.Bobby Green at UFC 300

Green has vowed to beat Pimblett in his own background, in front of his own people in July. Green referred to UFC Manchester which will likely take place at the new Co-Op Live Arena this July.
Dana White recently confirmed at the UFC 300 press conference that the UFC will be returning to the UK. The UFC CEO declared that the official confirmation will be released in a few days. With Paddy Pimblett vs. Bobby Green and Tom Aspinall vs. Curtis Blaydes as likely matchups, UFC Manchester is sure to be an exciting fight card filled with rivalries. Moreover, Leon Edwards is also expected to defend his welterweight title on home soil. However, his opponent isn’t yet known.
Bobby Green was scared to fight Jim Miller before UFC 300
Bobby Green and Jim Miller were not a sudden matchup. The two UFC stars were booked against each other several times before UFC 300. However, each time some new obstacle would come in the way of their matchup.

Bobby Green addressed his potential fight with Miller back in 2022. He said at the UFC Vegas 66 pre-fight press conference that he was strongly considering some divine intervention preventing him from fighting Jim Miller.
I blew my knee out one time getting ready to fight him. I passed out after making weight getting ready to fight him, and now the last one has this. I’m like, ‘Is God protecting this guy? Does God not want me to touch him?’ You know, is this guy blessed? I’m so afraid of him like God don’t want me to touch him for some reason. I’m scared to fight that guy, man.

However, it all came to a close today at the UFC 300 mega-event. The two fighters finally faced each other and went all out. Miller put on an incredible performance and came just short of being the first-ever fighter to win at UFC 100, 200, and UFC 300. Green inflicted a serious injury on Jim Miller that left the UFC veteran with a bloodied face as he lost via unanimous decision.
