As Karrion Kross is slowly starting to build some momentum in WWE, he’s engendered a ton of acclaim from one of the names he faced at WrestleMania XL: Bobby Lashley. The two men assembled their respective troops, which led to a multi-man Philadelphia Street Fight at The Showcase of the Immortals. It also served as Lashley’s last match at a WWE PLE. He’s not with the company anymore.
But he’s quite fond of Kross. In a recent virtual signing for K&S WrestleFest, Bobby dove into his real-life relationship with The Final Testament leader. Lashley said he hates people asking that often if he had actual beef with the 39-year-old Raw star. The All Mighty was admittedly shocked to know that there’s still a bunch of fans who believe that Karrion tried to bad-mouth him. Because it’s not true at all.
In fact, a few days ago, when Kross did an interview with Chris Van Vliet, he mentioned the same thing. The Harbinger of Doom shot down rumors of backstage heat with the former WWE Champion while saying that he loves Bobby to death. All in all, both superstars share a healthy amount of mutual respect for each other.
Additionally, the former Hurt Business member advocated for Kross’ increased TV time in WWE, saying he’s great. Lashley gave props to his then-foe for donning a million-dollar look and affirmed he could be a perfect antagonist to top names like Cody Rhodes and Gunther.
It’s worth noting that Kross has yet to enter a world title feud on the main roster in WWE. Back in 2022, when The Doomsday had just returned to WWE, it seemed like he was next in line for Roman Reigns. But that match never happened.
The Wyatt Sicks target Karrion Kross and co. in sneak attack on Raw
After weeks of cyberbullying, The Wyatt Sicks finally laid out Karrion Kross‘ Final Testament on this week’s Raw. After the Authors of Pain lost to The New Day owing to ringside shenanigans by R-Truth and The Miz, the lights went off.
When they were back on, the Wyatts took out AOP and Karrion’s wife, Scarlett too. Just when it seemed like Miz might just sneak away, Uncle Howdy had him lined up from behind. However, Paul Ellering pushed The A-Lister out of harm’s way.
But things got worse when 71-year-old Ellering bore the brunt of an enraged Howdy, who put the veteran to sleep, courtesy of the Mandible Claw. After the show, Kross vowed to make Howdy and his cavalry pay for their trail of destruction on Raw.
