Lashley and Batista

Current WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has offered a title shot to former WWE Superstar Batista, if he ever decides to make an in-ring return. Batista (real name Dave Bautista) is currently focusing on his career in Hollywood.

Batista announced his retirement from in-ring competition in 2019 after his loss against Triple H and Wrestlemania 35. He has previously worked with WWE from 2000 to 2010, before he returned for 5 months in 2014.

Lashley took to Instagram to share images of himself laughing and goofing around with Batista. In the caption of the post he wrote – “So good seeing my friend @davebautista. And yes I will give you a title shot if you ever return! Nevertheless Congrats on all your successes brotha.”

It is common for WWE Superstars to come out of their retirements, but Batista has outrightly mentioned on several occasions that he will never wrestle again. At a recent Justice Con even, Batista even mentioned that his career ended in a “storybook way” against his mentor, Triple H.

He mentioned that it common for WWE Superstars to return from retirement, but that won’t be the case with him. Nothing can convince him to return.

Bobby Lashley is the current CHO of The Hurt Business. WWE decided to break up the faction shortly after Wrestlemania 37. Batista had voiced his displeasure at the decision.
