Martina Navratilova criticized Donald Trump once again for not calling the family of one of his supporters who died during his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Trump was shot in the ear by a 20-year-old boy, Thomas Matthew Crooks, during his attempt to assassinate the former US President. 

Though Trump survived the assassination attempt, one of the bystanders, Corey Comperatore, 50, was killed, while two others were injured. Comperatore died while saving his family- his wife, and two children- during the shooting.

When the New York Times interviewed the widow of Comperatore, Helen Comperatore, she revealed Trump did not contact her but Joe Biden did. But as her husband was a “devout” Republican, she did not talk to the US President though she did not have any “ill will towards Biden.” After this interview, a user on X condemned Trump for not caring for the family of the deceased.

I think it cost Novak Djokovic the Grand Slam three years ago, and now they’re doing it again. It’s going to be tough more than the surface it’s just the emotional and mental stuff that will get you down.

In this Wimbledon final, Djokovic lost to Carlos Alcaraz in three sets which made the Spaniard the fifth player to beat Djokovic in straight sets in a Grand Slam final.
