“It was a little premature,” WWE HOF’er gives shocking reaction to Roman Reigns’ thunderous return at SummerSlam
A WWE Hall of Famer has put forth his two-cents on Roman Reigns returning at SummerSlam, which was premature according to him.

Even though the word was already there in the streets, Roman Reigns‘ WWE return at SummerSlam was such a feel-good moment for his fans. He arrived like a bruised swashbuckler. Inches away from the ring, he sneaked in and went right after Solo Sikoa. As a result, Cody Rhodes did the rest and retained his Undisputed WWE title. But Booker T believes that the company executed Reigns’ comeback prematurely.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, the 59-year-old made a baffling claim. He said that although Roman did catch him off guard, he could’ve benefited from being under wraps for another two weeks. However, Booker T admitted he was completely taken aback to see the Tribal Chief back in the fold after 118 days. It was his first WWE appearance since WrestleMania XL.
As things stand, the former Bloodline supremo has shattered some records. His return clips across WWE’s various digital platforms have crossed a staggering 100 million views. It has now become the most social moment in promotion’s history. Not only that, WWE made $800,000 off custom title belts exclusively autographed by the OTC within a couple of hours of their release.
I loved it, but I thought it was a little premature, man. I thought Roman [Reigns] could’ve used a couple more weeks off…I didn’t expect it. It was totally unexpected for me.Booker T on Roman Reigns’ return at SummerSlam
Now that the dust has settled on his return, it’s time to restore some law and order within his akins, the current Bloodline led by Solo Sikoa. The latter blatantly ascended the throne of the Tribal Chief in Roman’s absence.
Not only that, Sikoa has recruited a couple of Tongans, viz., Tama and Loa, and Jacob Fatu as well. It would be interesting to see what goes down on this week’s SmackDown, as Roman Reigns has been confirmed to appear on the show. As of now, Reigns does not have numbers on his side.
Logan Paul reveals why he’s envious of Roman Reigns
It certainly wasn’t the best of weekends for Logan Paul in Cleveland. Not only he lost his US title to LA Knight, but he also had his PRIME truck ravaged by The Megastar. Reflecting on an unprecedented experience at SummerSlam, Paul touched on Roman Reigns’ return.
With The Undertaker being a guest, Logan admitted to being envious of The Head of The Table on his IMPAULSIVE podcast. The Maverick was awestruck at the crowd reaction Reigns got when he emerged during the main event.
Meanwhile, he rued having to pull out some over-the-top maneuvers to capture the imagination of the fans. Whereas, on the other side, Roman does it with utmost ease. However, the boxer-turned-wrestler did admit that it’s about storytelling at the end of the day.
