Boston Celtics fans STOMP and RIP Kyrie Irving blow-up doll after Game 1 win over Mavericks
Game 2 of the NBA Finals will show if all this negativity gets to Kyrie Irving's head or spurs him on.

Boston Celtics fans stomp and rip up Kyrie Irving's blow up doll
Boston Celtics fans are hostile. That may be the most basic way to say it when one sees how they are around opponents. Most importantly, if it is someone who was once their own and left them hanging.
Kyrie Irving fits that description. Which is why, after blowing out the Dallas Mavericks in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, they decided to send him a message.
Videos taken outside the arena show fans first parading a blow-up doll with Kyrie Irving‘s face and jersey. The Celtics fans who paraded the doll shouted out, “F*ck Kyrie! F*ck Kyrie!”
In a subsequent video it shows fans stomping the doll on the ground. One of the fans ripped apart his former Boston Celtics jersey and later another fan tried to burn it. All of this shows the level of hatred they have towards their former team leader. The superstar who was supposed to take them to the promised land.
Kyrie Irving was also subject to a raucous crowd inside the arena. Leading to some analysts even suggesting that the noise inside was too loud. However, Irving hit back suggesting the noise could be louder.
That statement will most likely rile the Celtics fans up even more in Game 2. If this is how they reacted after Game 1, then the reactions will probably get worse if the Boston Celtics win the next game. Their animosity towards their former player seems to have no boundaries.
Kyrie Irving might want the noise to get to him
Irving is the type of player who thrives when the opposition gets under his skin. A trait that most of the great players have. He made that statement about the noise not being loud enough to rile up the Celtics fans so that he can use that as a motivation while on the court in Game 2. All these clips of fans burning his jersey and ripping up blow-up dolls will only go on to feed that fire in him.
He anyways will have to improve on his woeful shooting from Game 1. However, it is quite possible that Irving will use these negativities to motivate his teammates in their pep talk sessions from now until the first whistle of Game 2. If he does go on a rampage to shut down the noise, all of this will be the driving factors.
As Kendrick Perkins said, it is better for the Boston Celtics if their fans leave the Dallas Mavericks superstar alone. Now it may be too late to implement that. Game 2 of the NBA Finals will show which side wins.
