Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz
Two 46-year-old MMA legends graced the boxing ring at the Triller Fight Club pay-per-view event in the co-main event. Anderson Silva took on Tito Ortiz and boy did the “Spider” put on a show.
Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz happened at the co-main event in a card headlined by Evander Holyfield vs. Vitor Belfort. The Triller Fight Club event took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Two of UFC’s biggest champions in their respective divisions came together to try out a new venture in boxing. Silva was definitely the favorite to win given his recent victory at the boxing debut.
The boxing match didn’t take too much time to end as the fight ended in the first round. Ortiz walked towards Silva and tried to take swings at him, Silva being Silva swerved those punches like it was nothing. Anderson dropped a right hand on Ortiz and BAM!! A left hand follows for good measure and Tito is out.

Twitter reactions to Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz
MMA Twitter was all praise for the former UFC middleweight champion as he knocked out Tito Ortiz in 75 seconds. Daniel Cormier who is a former two-division champion was proud that Silva won the fight. “Spider Anderson is the coldest boxer of all time. That’s my dawg,” wrote Cormier.
Chris Weidman who has previously beat Anderson twice at UFC 168 and UFC 162 in the MMA octagon was very happy for “Spider” getting the W. He also showed some concern for Ortiz as he was put to sleep.
Women UFC fighters Angela Hill and Cris Cyborg also posted their thoughts on Twitter.
Claressa Shields, Michael Chiesa, and James Vick want a Silva vs Jake Paul fight next.
