Alvarez made his boxing debut back in 2005 and is 58-2 professionally with only two losses to Floyd Mayweather and Dmitry Bivol. For his 2021 fight with Caleb Plant Alvarez made an estimated $40 million and in his loss against Bivol, Alvarez was guaranteed a $15 million with a reported cap of $40 million, which was almost 70 percent of PPV sales.
However, Alvarez’s biggest rivalry made him the most money, was with Gennadiy Golovkin. In the first fight, Alvarez earned $40 million and in the second fight, it was $30 million. The biggest fight payday of Alvarez came in the trilogy fight between him and GGG in which he took home $45 million.
