The Irishman tweeted, saying, “Why wasn’t I at Wrestlemania? They all fear me, that’s why.”
This wasn’t the first time the Notorious has shown interest in wrestling. However, he is under the contract of the UFC, which means he can’t make an appearance without getting Dana White’s approval. But since McGregor rakes in a lot of views, it isn’t hard to see what is advantageous for the UFC. This helped bring a fan-favorite battle between him and Floyd Mayweather Jr. to reality.
