Jake Paul reveals his Top 5 most wanted fights in professional boxing
Jake Paul
Youtuber-cum-boxer Jake Paul is ending the year of 2021 on a very strange note that anything can happen in the fight game, but also, you can achieve anything you want out of it if you’re willing to put in the work. With a knockout win over former world champions in MMA, Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley, Paul is now more confident than ever and is willing to look beyond much bigger names, to an extent where people think his chances of winning are none.
After his knockout win over Woodley in the rematch, Paul said he wanted to take a good break out of boxing since he fought four back to back bouts within 13 months. But it seems like with Paul firing back at Masvidal, Diaz and now making his own bucket list, he at least wants to assure his comeback opponent before he is off for vacation, or maybe he will just keep on training while staying low.
Dana White and Mike Tyson included in Jake Paul’s boxing bucket list alongside more
Jake Paul took it to Twitter to reveal his boxing bucket list, tweeting “My boxing bucket list: 1) Canelo Alvarez 2) Floyd Mayweather 3) Mike Tyson 4) Tyson Furry 5) Dana White” It seems like Paul doesn’t care about his criticism on fighting old people and therefore wouldn’t mind fighting boxing legend Tyson and UFC President White who’re already in their fifties. Paul’s pick for boxing heavyweight champion Fury can only be valid for an exhibition match since they both have a humongous difference of height and weight with Fury being on the bigger end.
Other than that, Paul’s most feasible challenges, and the toughest alongside Fury, are Canelo Alvarez and Floy Mayweather. Out of all these boxing legends who’re far from hitting their old age, Canelo and Fury may not be interested in any fight that doesn’t have to do with their legacy as a boxer and would prefer to keep on walking the traditional path of defending their championship belt. Since Mayweather has fought Paul’s elder brother Logan Paul, the younger Paul can maybe put a case for himself to entertain the undefeated pro-boxer for a fight.
What do you make of this bucket list and who do you think Jake Paul should fight next? Is it someone from the list or not?
