From Floyd Mayweather to Mike Tyson, Jake Paul wants to face every legend of the modern-day boxing
Jake Paul
The YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul is going to return inside the boxing ring to take on the former welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley on 18th December in a rematch. These two genuinely hate each other, and Jake got the better of Woodley last time around, and he is planning to do the same.
Tyron lost the fight via split decision, and he wasn’t too happy with the decision, he has now promised to knock Jake out, and he is training the same way. Originally, Paul was supposed to face another young boxer, Tommy Fury, but he had to pull out from this fight because of a chest infection, and a broken rib.
Jake started his boxing journey by calling out the biggest star in the history of MMA, Conor McGregor. He issued a series of disrespectful callouts, but Conor choose to ignore him. Jake then landed a fight against Ben Askren, and he knocked him out in the very first round. He then faced Woodley and we all know how that one turned out.
This rematch is just around the edge, but Jake already has a list of possible future opponents. His list goes like this.
- Floyd Mayweather
- Conor McGregor
- Canelo Alvarez
- Mike Tyson
Jake Paul wants to become the next Muhammad Ali of boxing
In recent addressing with the media, Jake Paul talked about how there is still a chip on his shoulder for not finishing his rival in the first fight. When asked about why the YouTube boxer has the most pressure heading into the rematch, he said, “Just because he already lost. When you do something it starts to become a habit. When you are a loser it’s a habit. That’s been the case so far for Tyron.”
Paul has been undefeated in his entire career as a professional boxer. Whereas, Tyron is on a devastating losing skid. The fighter has now lost five out of his last five professional fights. Jake believes this rematch means more to him than the former UFC welterweight champion. “What does he have here? What career does he have ahead of him? I am 24 years old, I could take over the world and become the next Muhammad Ali…at the rate, this is going,” said Paul talking to the reporters.
