West’s interaction with Ali took place in 2008. interestingly, West even made Ali wear his Shutter Shades in the picture. The Shutter Shades was launched by West in 2007. West was first seen wearing it in the music video of his acclaimed song, “Stronger.” Alain Mikli designed it.

The iconic picture of Ali wearing the glasses now made waves on the Internet. Even though his recent struggles have caused a dip in his image, West is still considered one of the GOATs of rapping. So it was no surprise to see West and Ali being labeled GOATs by the Internet community.

Muhammad Ali did not compete in MMA. However, his fight with Antonio Inoki can be considered as the precursor to MMA. Ali fought with Inoki, a professional wrestler, in 1975 in an event billed as War of the Worlds. It was one of the first high-profile special rules combat sports bouts. Sylvester Stallone took inspiration from the bout to make his iconic scene with Hulk Hogan in Rocky III. Ali’s fight with Chuck Wepner inspired Stallone’s first iconic Rocky movie.
