“It’s been 6 months”- Logan Paul flames Floyd Mayweather for failing to pay him for their fight
Logan Paul(L), Floyd Mayweather(R)
Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather was a very unexpected fight between two men from different weight classes, one of them being a former undisputed and undefeated boxer while the other having a boxing career of 0-1 losing his only fight to KSI, a youtuber and currently a music artist.
The fight was a disappointing one in terms of actual boxing as it turned out to be a mix of a wrestling and wild swinging match. But the PPV sales made from this fight were estimated at around one million.
Floyd is dubbed as ‘Money’ for nothing as he reportedly took home almost $65 million and Logan who was said to have received a $250,000 flat fee, was guaranteed an additional 10% share of the pay-per-view profits and Paul has supposedly made around $10 million inclusive of paid promotions, endorsements, show fees, pay-per-view share, etc from the fight.
But according to Logan Paul himself, he hasn’t been compensated at all from the fight.
Replying to an article that said Mayweather earned so much from their fight that he could buy Jeff Bezos‘s private jet, Logan claimed that he hadn’t been paid for the fight even after six months.
“Yeah because the dirty little rat hasn’t paid me yet lol. It’s been 6 months.”
Well, no one expected this piece of information and whether it’s true or not, we shall find out if Floyd has any words on it.
Logan Paul says he will make up for the stolen money with help from KSI
Logan Paul claimed that ‘Money’ Mayweather is a “dirty little rat” who hasn’t paid what is owed for their fight which took place half a year back.
However, he announced on Twitter that he would make up for the stolen money with KSI and would make an announcement on January 4th.
“Yeah because the dirty little rat hasn’t paid me yet lol. It’s been 6 months. but no worries @Floydmayweather, @KSI and I are going to make back the money you stole from me & more. January 4.”
The two youtubers took on each other in two separate highly anticipated boxing matches with the first match ending without a victor and the second bout falling in the favour of KSI who took the win at the Staples Center, Los Angeles.
Fans have been contemplating that the two stars might announce a trilogy match but it could be a new project or anything else for that matter.
Whatever it is, it’s just hours before the world finds out their big reveal.
