Mike Tyson discusses unique topics on his podcast. During the podcast episode with American writer “Freeway Rick” Ross, they delved into the topic of money. Ross is known for his drug trafficking empire in the 1980s.
Mike Tyson asked Ross about the most money he ever saw at a time. Ross replied that he once had $3.5 Million in cash lying on the floor. Tyson commented that much amount of money could weigh as much as 40 pounds. Ross asked the same to Tyson. Tyson recounted the story of how he once went to the bank with his ex-wife. However, he could not carry the load. Tyson commented, “This b*ch was f*king with some money.”
Tyson did not understand accounting and was lived a luxurious life and lost a ton of money that way. So, he did not understand how money worked. Only after filing for bankruptcy did Tyson learn about the finance and money related issues.
After briefly discussing the matter with the employees, Tyson prompted them to empty out the several accounts. This led Tyson to carry back $9 million in cash which he could not carry on his own. Later, Tyson deposited the cash into different accounts where his ex-wife couldn’t mess with them.

Legendary Mike Tyson does not dwell on small things and has nerves of steel. However, his nerves were not strong enough to withstand certain situations of his life. Mike Tyson lost his four year-old daughter, Exodus in 2009.
Her neck was strangled by a treadmill cord, and Exodus’s death left Mike Tyson broken. Despite experiencing a difficult period, he has yet to lose his intimidating presence. In an interview, he discussed the death of his daughter with Real Sports. Tyson said, “I don’t know what happened that day… I did some cocaine for a week. I had to get high. I had to back there, I had to get high. I couldn’t handle it at all.”
There was a split second of silence after Tyson revealed his feelings. Once he got back into his senses, he asked the interviewer to leave. It wasn’t a typical interview moment, but considering the severity of the tragedy, it was enough to give you chills.
