“I know a guy”- 45-year-old former UFC fighter offers Jake Paul a fight at 200 lbs

Jake Paul

Despite being a more technically skilled fighter than Hasim Rahman Jr. and Tommy Fury, Jake Paul has been unable to outlast either of them due to Tommy’s mobility issues. He hasn’t lost a game and has defeated some formidable opponents. Despite the fact that he only turned professional in 2020, he has faced numerous MMA opponents. He has shown promise and made significant progress since then.

His significance is most likely only partially understood right now. Some of the people he has challenged to fight include Conor McGregor, Mike Tyson, and Canelo Alvarez. Here’s a video Jake posted on his YouTube channel showcasing his rigorous training:

The August 6 boxing pay-per-view card headlined by Jake and Hasim Rahman Jr. has been canceled due to a weight issue with Rahman, according to Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions. The event was scheduled to take place at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Rahman’s camp informed Paul’s team Saturday morning that Rahman planned to weigh in at 215 pounds on Friday, according to MVP’s statement. Rahman had signed a contract for a fight at 200 pounds, but according to the statement, Paul was willing to compromise and fight at 205 pounds. Rahman’s camp stated in the statement that its fighter would withdraw from the fight if the weight limit was not set at 215 pounds.

Hasim Rahman Jr. admits that he requested more weight allowance, but that isn’t why his boxing match against Jake Paul was canceled. Regardless it was unfortunate that the bout was called off.
