Silva will likely be the last MMA fighter that Paul faces for some time as he will look to legitimize his career by fighting actual up-and-coming boxing professionals. In this regard Silva has the eyes and hopes of the MMA Community latched on to him, as a final ambassador of the sport.

In his boxing career, Paul has managed to beat two former MMA World champions in Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. Hence the MMA fandom feels a need to get one back against the YouTuber.

To this regard, though way past his prime, Silva seems to be the best option as he’d be the first MMA fighter Paul faces who comes from a striking background. Moreover, unlike all his previous fight, Paul doesn’t have a visible size advantage over Silva.

They are scheduled to fight in Glendale, Arizona this weekend at the 29th of October. A win for Paul will boost his record to 6-0.
