He is accused of two instances of sexual assault according to a civil lawsuit filed by a tequila company executive. According to the lawsuit during a trip to a Tequila distillery in Mexico, the woman claimed Oscar behaved in an indecent manner with her. She claims that he forced her into his bed where he sexually assaulted her. In the second instance when she visited De La Hoya’s home he inserted an object into her forcefully. Oscar was quick to deny these reports through his media team. Time will tell if these turn out to be true or not.

Oscar De La Hoya placed a massive bet on Golf legend Tiger Woods for winning the Master’s tournament a few weeks ago. It’s obvious that Oscar has made a lot of money from his boxing career and it showed when he placed a bet of half-million dollars for Woods to win the whole tournament.

Oscar De La Hoya lost his five hundred grand as Tiger Woods lost the tournament. A missing half-million dollars would be a very big deal for an average man but not for Oscar who happens to run his own promotion and is also an executive of a tequila company. De La Hoya has a net worth of over two hundred million dollars. He recently is in the news for sexually assaulting a female executive of his own Tequila company. These allegations will do a lot of damage to his reputation if proven to be true.
