There have been reports of Tyson Fury wanting a super fight with the now-free agent Francis Ngannou. While most of the community is excited to watch this fight, Chael Sonnen seems to be confused as to why Tyson Fury wants this fight.

Tyson Fury has made it public that he wants to fight Francis Ngannou. A super fight that will be with 4-ounce gloves inside a cage. An exhibition match of sorts. The match has been much-anticipated by fans of both sports. The biggest and the baddest motherf**kers of boxing and MMA duking it out. But Sonnen isn’t impressed.

Chael Sonnen said,“ Everywhere he goes, he is a victim and he is begging”. According to him, it is disappointing to see an established boxer like Fury practically begging to fight Ngannou. He seems confused as to why he isn’t fighting the other heavyweights which the fans have been asking and going for a fighter who has next to no experience in the sport.

At the end of the day, it is the opinion of just one man. Fans have always been excited to watch this fight happen, ever since it was rumored to happen while Ngannou was still in contract with UFC. Therefore, if all goes well, the fans will get to see and hear absolute cannons going off in the middle of the cage.

The Gypsy King and The Predator have been in discussions of a fight forever. But these rumors finally got some legs to stand on when Fury invited Ngannou into the ring to have a staredown and an interview to discuss the fight.

Following his title defense against Dillian Whyte, Tyson Fury invited Ngannou onto the stage and made it public to have an exciting match between them with mixed rules. They both agreed and had a brief staredown. “We’re going to find out who the baddest mother****** is on the planet… It’s going to be a hybrid fight with different types of rules. MMA gloves in the ring, kind of like a mix of everything. A little different”, Fury said.

With Ngannou now a free agent he can do whatever he wants. He always wanted to box – and what better way to announce yourself to the world of boxing than to fight Fury himself?
