“We’re there for the long haul” – Conor McGregor caught off-guard as Chris Eubank Jr vows not bring towel to much-anticipated fight
Conor McGregor looks hyped about the upcoming grudge rematch between Chris Eubank Jr. and Liam Smith.

Conor McGregor reacts to recent claims by Chris Eubank Jr. to face Liam Smith in their rematch and finish this rivalry once and for all. The British boxer recently revealed that his camp will not bring a towel to the bout and is ready to go to huge lengths regardless of the outcome.
This coming weekend at the Manchester Arena, Eubank Jr. and Liam Smith are scheduled to square off and the hype around the fight is huge. During a recent pre-fight press conference, Eubank Jr. claimed that He wouldn’t bring a towel to surrender in the ring on Saturday. He said, “We’re not going to do any of that, looking for the easy way out. If it gets rough, if it gets hairy, we’re there for the long haul.”
After @SkySportsBoxing shared a video of Eubank Jr. expressing his commitment, UFC superstar Conor McGregor responded with a concise one-word reaction. ‘The Notorious’ quote-tweeted the post and commented, “Woah @ForgedStout.” McGregor’s new Irish stout brand has collaborated with the boxing event and this might be the reason for the former UFC champion to be curious about it.
It will be the pair’s second encounter after Smith’s first-ever career knockout of Eubank Jr. back in January. ‘Beefy’ won their most recent encounter with a fourth-round TKO, and he is currently on a remarkable four-fight knockout streak. It would be interesting to see who will take the win this time.
Liam Smith makes a mockery out of Chris Eubank Jr’s intelligence ahead of their fight

The last time Liam Smith and Chris Eubank Jr. faced each other, Eubank’s former coach Roy Jones was ready to throw in the towel. This time, as expected, the rivalry has gone to a different level.
Their first-ever press conference ahead of the second fight was filled with heated moments between both parties. During one such exchange, Smith mentioned that Eubank Jr. is not an intelligent person at all.
“You are trying to convince people you’re intelligent? You’ve been fit, you’ve been durable, you have an engine, but you’ve never been classed as intelligent,” said Smith. “You have one form of fighting, I have many,’ said Eubank. ‘So, if we are going to talk about intelligence there is no competition,” he added.
It seems like Smith is trying to capitalize on the advantage he has over Eubank Jr. from the last fight. Fans expect Eubank Jr. to show tremendous mental fortitude in order to fight and get a different result this time.
