The Bronze Bomber Deontay Wilder‘s coach, Malik Scott, was left in a pickle when an interviewer asked him a question. It was about his prediction for Francis Ngannou vs. Anthony Joshua. Deontay Wilder was previously supposed to fight Anthony Joshua. However, the upset defeat of Deontay Wilder against Joseph Parker kicked him out of the race.
Malik Scott vaguely answered the question of his prediction vs Ngannou vs. Joshua by saying:
Its really hard to put any kind of... I don't wanna say judgement as a boxer but you got to commend him [Ngannou] for what he did with Fury.Malik Scott on a interview with ESNEWS
Malik Scott has always been a good friend of Deontay Wilder. Hence it comes as no surprise that he didn’t want to go against his fighter in any way. Malik Scott joined Team Wilder in 2021. Their first fight together was the trilogy between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder in which Wilder tasted defeat in the 11th round.
The Ngannou vs. Joshua fight is putting fans in a frenzy. Every fight fan eagerly awaits the fight. People are divided into three. Some support the British superstar Joshua, and some support “The Predator” Ngannou.
The third category of people is in a dilemma, just like Malik Scott. Fans can only keep their fingers crossed for a victory of their favorite fighter. But one thing is for sure: the fight will be mindblowing and massive.
Is Deontay Wilder’s career over?
Deontay Wilder is a household name when it comes to heavyweight boxing. He is considered to be one of the hardest punchers in boxing. His right hand makes every opponent tremble. However, the Bronze Bomber’s career is now at its end. Will he go out now, or does he have what it takes to go out on a high note?
Deontay Wilder started boxing at 20, considered quite late compared to other boxers. However, the Olympic bronze medalist had a hunger to prove himself. He quickly rose in the ranks and even became world champion. But the bigger they are, the harder they fall.
Wilder faced his first defeat at the hands of Tyson Fury in their rematch. Once again in the trilogy, Wilder had to taste the bitter taste of defeat. Fans believed that Deontay Wilder would reignite the flame of dominance in the ring within him. However, they were shocked as a major upset happened in Saudi in his most recent fight against Joseph Parker. He lost the fight unanimously, making fans wonder if that is all for the former champion.
Everyone knows that ‘Father Time’ breaks down everyone, and maybe it is time for Wilder to hang up the gloves. However, Team Wilder has not confirmed anything, and some still hold on to the ray of hope that their favorite fighter may return to the ring and produce a comeback story that would be told to generations.
