Matchroom Boxing promoter, Eddie Hearn has made an interesting claim that Tyson Fury won’t be out of professional boxing for too long. According to the promoter the Gypsy King’s camp has already reached out to a potential opponent.

Tyson Fury said goodbye to the sport of boxing in April 2022. After his clash against Dillian Whyte, Fury said he was hanging his gloves and never coming back to professional boxing because he feels he has achieved everything there is in the sport. A lot of people did not buy the retirement statement of Tyson and Eddie Hearn was one of them. Hearn’s was more of a wish that Fury doesn’t retire before he fights Anthony Joshua.

Eddie has been pushing for a fight between Tyson and AJ for the past several years. This fight is undoubtedly the biggest fight in the sport of boxing at the moment. AJ and Tyson are both huge British boxers and will completely put out a blockbuster event if they were to fight each other. Eddie who manages AJ is very confident about making the fight with Fury, one day.

“But I believe that AJ-Fury will happen and this will be the biggest fight in the history of the sport. Tyson’s brilliant, he is a character, and what he has come back from is incredible. Jokes aside he is funny but I just take what he says with a pinch of salt,” said Hearn talking to iFL TV.
