‘The Predator’ Francis Ngannou will be fighting ‘The Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury on October 28 in a cross-over fight. The highly anticipated exhibition match will be Ngannou’s professional debut after signing with the PFL. Ngannou, a former UFC heavyweight champion, left the MMA promotion company because he wasn’t satisfied with his career.
Subsequently, he was able to book the biggest payday in his fighting career by securing a fight with the current WBA heavyweight champion. The fight is an interesting matchup since Ngannou is known for his destructive punching power. However, Fury is one of the most skilled boxers in the current era and remains undefeated after 33 fights. Furthermore, people are expecting Fury to win because Fury has much more boxing knowledge and fighting IQ compared to Francis Ngannou.
Additionally, they will hold the fight on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and they have announced the PPV price for the fight. The promoters have priced the pay-per-view for the Fury vs. Ngannou fight at $79.99, which has slightly disappointed fans.
Typically, the average PPV cost ranges from $4 to $50, depending on the fighters who are part of the fight card. However, big fights and most UFC events do cost an average of $75 to $100 in the United States for the ESPN+ PPV broadcasts.

However, in the past, Fury has faced Deontay Wilder three times, who is also known for his destructive punching power. In addition, Wilder was a professional boxer and has a record of 43-2-1, and out of his 43 victories, 42 were via KO. Hence, people feel that if Fury could deal with Wilder in three separate fights, then he could beat Ngannou. Furthermore, Fury has been boxing his entire life, but Ngannou has only recently transitioned to boxing from MMA. However, Ngannou has recruited the legendary Mike Tyson into his training camp for this fight. Subsequently, Tyson is quite confident that Ngannou can win after training him personally.
Fans are very hyped for this fight, and many have expressed mixed reactions online after the PPV announced its price. Some fans commented on how they could just illegally stream the fight for free instead of paying that much. Other fans stated that the fight isn’t worth paying for that much, especially since the other fights are underwhelming.
