The WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is no stranger to criticism and controversy. His charisma and excellent boxing IQ have earned him a special place in the sport of boxing. With the unexpected announcement of the 7th child with his wife, Paris Fury, amidst the cancellation of the highly anticipated heavyweight bout against Oleksandr Usyk, fans took to Twitter to brutally insult him.
The news of ‘The Gypsy King’s’ seventh child came as a surprise to fans, especially when the time is taken into account. This, was right when Alex Krassyuk, Usyk’s promoter, confirmed that the fight had officially been called off. Fans were obviously disappointed, as the bout was highly anticipated by fans worldwide.
While some fans were respectful and understanding of the situation, the rest were unapologetically ferocious. One fan tweeted, “At least he doesn’t pull out of everything,” in a clear knock at Fury’s withdrawal from the Usyk fight.
Part of the backlash was Tyson Fury’s harsh comments against Usyk in the lead up calling him a “S***house little coward“. Since the bout has been canceled, it is speculated that Usyk will now look to make his heavyweight title defense against WBA Mandatory Challenger, Daniel Dubois.

Before the Fury vs Usyk fight was finalized, a mountain of contractual drama took place. The finalized share for the fight was a 70-30 split for Fury. Despite that, Fury backed out of the fight. This enraged fans even more, prompting them to go on different social media platforms, mainly Twitter to poke and make fun of ‘The Gypsy King’ after he posted the announcement of his 7th child.

Fury is currently supporting his wife through her pregnancy and focusing more on being a family man. And Usyk is focusing on his next heavyweight title defense against contenders, one of them being WBA (Regular) heavyweight title holder, Daniel Dubois.
