This weekend’s Formula 1 race in Miami was a smashing success, drawing large spectators from all across the country to its electrifying new street track. Numerous celebrities attended the Miami Grand Prix, and the entire paddock was humming with excitement. Jake Paul, a former YouTuber turned boxer, was one famous celebrity present and shared his experience in an interview.

The ‘Problem Child’ claimed that it was his first time going to an F1 event and that he was astounded to witness the technical components of the sport up close. Paul continued by saying that many of the things he observed in the F1 garage reminded him of boxing, a sport for which he has recently gained popularity.

Jake Paul has been outstanding with his boxing venture and has shut down a lot of haters who doubted him in the early phase of his boxing career. He was doing well by beating up retired UFC fighters but his undefeated run was stopped by Tommy Fury last February.  However, his comparison of boxing with F1 was completely random and it was something that Twitter didn’t take lightly.

F1 fans in general have always been critical of irrelevant celebrities going into the F1 paddock and showing fake interest in the sport. This has been amplified a lot with the addition of Miami GP in the F1 calendar and the comments were pretty clear about the same. Fans bashed F1 for how celebrities like Jake Paul are running the sport.
