Ahead of his fight with Nate Diaz, he made sure to make an impact upon entering the arena for his boxing bout. “The Problem Child” Jake Paul came riding a tank to the arena that took the internet by storm. He remains one of the best entertainers in the combat sports world.
The bout between Nate Diaz and one of the Paul brothers had been rumored to be in the works since Diaz left the UFC last year. Logan Paul wanted to box Diaz but Diaz chose Logan’s younger brother as his first opponent. During the negotiation process, the bout only had eight rounds. However, after the bout was confirmed, the terms slowly changed, increasing to ten rounds. Jake Paul can become the first fighter to finish Diaz in the boxing ring.
It is noted that Paul rejected a fight against KSI to fight Nate Diaz. Paul’s entrance made an impact on Twitter as his haters started pounding on him like usual. However, people with a neutral approach praised Paul for pulling such an entrance. Before losing to Fury, Jake Paul has notable victories over Ben Askren, Tyrone Woodley (twice), and Anderson Silva.
On the other hand, Nate Diaz will make his boxing debut at the age of 37. The Stockton-based fighter always wanted to compete in the squared circle. He will hope to grab a win for the MMA community over Jake Paul in boxing.
