Alexander Volkanovski parties with Leon Edwards and Devin Haney after getting a win last weekend at UFC 290. Volkanovski has yet again proved why he is one of best fighters in the UFC roster and is in a different league than others.

At UFC 290, Volkanovski gave another masterclass performance and managed to beat challenger Yair Rodriguez via TKO in the third round. After the fight, Volkanovski immediately mentioned he is eyeing over the lightweight championship or even a title defense with Ilia Topuria next.

This win over Rodriguez has put Volkanovski in the same rank as Jon Jones in the UFC pound-for-pound rankings. In order to celebrate the victory, Volkanovski partied hard and was with some big names.

Recently, the champion posted pictures of his party in which he was posing along with Leon Edwards, Claressa Shields and Devin Haney. In the caption, Volkanovski wrote: “Chalo sh** only. However, there were some fans who didn’t agree with Volkanovski and called out Devin Haney for losing against Vasiliy Lomachenko in his last fight.

In the comments under the post, Devin Haney was brutally mocked by many fight fans who claimed that Vasiliy Lomachenko was robbed in that fight. Few mentioned that there are only three champions in the picture and Haney is not one of them.

Haney and Lomachenko fought each other last May for the undisputed lightweight championship. After 12 rounds of back and forth, Haney was announced the winner via unanimous decision but fans didn’t like it at all. After the fight, many claimed that it was one of the biggest robberies in recent boxing history.

Fabs under Volkanovski’s post explained that unlike Volkanovski who in his last fight beat Yair Rodriguez fair and square, Haney doesn’t belong in the picture. One comment mentioned that Haney knows that he lost the fight to the Ukrainian but isn’t ready to give the rematch as he knows he would lose the next time.
