The WBC champion Tyson Fury will square off against former UFC champion Francis Ngannou in Riyadh. The bout is a non-title boxing exhibition. The Turki Al-Sheikh had officially redirected invites to many personalities. Conor McGregor, Frank Mir, Israel Adensanya, Manny Pacquiao, Sugar Ray Leonard, Teddy Atlas, Dmitry Bivol, Roberto Duran, Cristiano Ronaldo, and others are ringside for the event. Even international singer/rapper Eminem and Kanye West were also in attendance. The Champions Gala dinner and the following matchup had an array of numerous celebrities.

As of late, a video has surfaced with singer/rapper Kanye West making his way to the matchup. West made a bizarre gateway for the Riyadh season entertainment. Instead of a Thobe, Ghutra, and Egal, West fashioned his own hijab. The video showed him making an entrance with a piece of clothing on his head, like a robe. The attire has drawn many fan responses.

Cultural appropriation and norms dictate the appropriate attire, including a white thobe and possibly a bisht and cloak. But West paid no heed to such norms. Instead, he created a new standard for fusion dress-up, incorporating various styles to achieve a new look. The singer is notoriously famous for his trends, time and again.

Fury is fresh off two victories in the past. He had a sixth-round TKO of Dillian Whyte and a 10th-round TKO of Derek Chisora. At the same time, Ngannou makes his boxing debut. Both the fighters have hyped up the match for a while now. According to ESPN’s Mike Coppinger, the bout will occur in a regulation boxing ring with boxing rules in effect. The match will have three ringside judges employing the 10-point must system.
