Drake’s curse is back as Jake Paul bounced back from his last loss as he beat Nate Diaz in an entertaining boxing bout. Diaz believed that making Jake Paul fight for 10 rounds would work in his favor since it would give him time to deplete Paul’s energy and win the battle in the later rounds. Instead, Paul dominated almost all of the fight’s rounds up to and including the tenth to win by unanimous decision.
Diaz attempted to spice things up with his trolling style and slapping combos, but Paul’s boxing was too technical for him. Paul used his strength to offset Diaz’s clumsiness, unsettling him in the opening round and knocking him down in the fifth with a step-back left hook that nearly sent Diaz through the ropes.
Even though Jake Paul fought 10 rounds for the first time in his career, Diaz had his moments, but Paul’s power ultimately prevailed, and his cardio never wavered. Ultimately, Diaz lost his first-ever boxing bout, and Drake lost $250k in his bet.
Fans react to Drake losing quarter million dollars by betting on Nate Diaz
During the fight, Nate Diaz was trolling Paul a lot and wasn’t able to land many shots. The retired UFC fighter just defended shots from Paul and survived for 10 rounds. After the fight, fans went wild after Drake lost $250,000.
Drake, when making the bet, mentioned that he wouldn’t want to bet against a Diaz brother. Previously, Drake lost a lot of money by betting on Paul, and this time he lost it by betting against Paul.
