The United Arab Emirates has impressed Floyd Mayweather with its hospitality and business opportunities. “Money” has decided that he will return to the middle east for another exhibition fight.
Last weekend, Floyd Mayweather took part in an exhibition bout against his former sparring partner, and 18-0 boxer, Don Moore. The two headlined an exhibition event in UAE and Mayweather was as good as ever. The legendary boxer put on a masterclass for his opponents and the many watching around the world.
Mayweather has announced his retirement several times and yet keeps going strong. Floyd Mayweather came back in 2021 to fight YouTube sensation Logan Paul in an exhibition boxing bout with no winners. Floyd cruised through that fight and as always earned a handsome amount of money. UAE seems to be the perfect place for Floyd to continue earning millions and conduct great business so Mayweather announced after his fight against Don Moore that he is UAE bound once again in 2022.
“I just want to say thank you to everyone that’s here. I want to say thank you to everyone in the whole UAE for having patience and all of the fighters up here who are unbelievable and the sponsors,” said Floyd talking to Boxing Scene in an interview after his Moore fight.
“We have an opponent,” Floyd Mayweather says for his next exhibition bout
“I will bring another fight back to the UAE this year. [The opponent] is a secret,” Money Mayweather said talking to Boxing Scene. The boxer wants to get his deal done 100% before he reveals the details of his next fight in the United Arab Emirates. “I don’t want to let the cat out of the bag right now, but we have an opponent, and I choose the UAE.”
Floyd has one of the best resumes in boxing and is considered to be the greatest boxer of all time by many. Mayweather is continuing to make millions of dollars from his fights and his promotional events. Who do you think will be Floyd’s next opponent?
