Floyd Mayweather has landed in South Africa after attending events in Zimbabwe. The boxing icon has attracted tons of attention minutes after landing in South Africa following his issues about land ownership.

During his time in Abu Dhabi for his exhibition bout against Don Moore, Floyd Mayweather met with politician Scott Sakupwanya. The undefeated boxer was extended an invitation to visit the African content under the pretext of traveling to his homeland. Floyd cashed in on the opportunity and announced his motherland tour. He visited Zimbabwe and then flew to South Africa.

Mayweather landed on the continent in his multi-million dollar jet and had thousands waiting to catch a glimpse of the boxing icon. Many believed he was going to discuss opportunities for his next exhibition bout but there is no solid news of that yet. Instead, Floyd Mayweather has finished attending a political rally in Zimbabwe in support of the ruling party.

After taking care of things in Zimbabwe, the 46-year-old flew over to Johannesburg, South Africa. Moments after touching down Mayweather addressed the issue of land ownership which resonated with the crowd.

“I want to see more people in South Africa have more ownership. We are in Johannesburg, it’s all about like myself, I own my career, I won myself, I became my own boss. Even in America, it’s about real estate... Get that land back,” said Floyd Mayweather. He will now be seen taking part in events in South Africa and potentially come out with some boxing-related news.

Former five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather has embarked on his journey to the African continent. He was spotted in Zimbabwe a couple of days ago and has recently gone to South Africa. With Mayweather’s sudden visit, fans have been questioning, why the undefeated fighter was in Africa.

It turns out that Floyd Mayweather is visiting the African continent as part of his “Motherland Tour.” He was invited to Zimbabwe by politician and gold industrialist Scott Sakupwanya. The duo met during Floyd Mayweather’s exhibition bout in Abu Dhabi. While the bout was cancelled due to the demise of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed, he was invited to Zimbabwe by Scott. During his time in Zimbabwe, Floyd Mayweather attended a political event and met with President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

His appearance at the event was part of the ruling party’s plan to attract young voters. Scott Sakupwanya, who invited Mayweather, took this opportunity to advertise himself to reclaim a seat from the opposite party. “People thought I was lying when I said I would bring Mayweather, but he is here. This shows that our promise in this election will come to pass,” said the gold tycoon. Mayweather also cashed in on his visit and entertained the fans by showcasing his boxing drills.
