Floyd Mayweather is the richest professional boxer in the world. Mayweather never hesitated to display his wealth and affluence. Coming from a humble background, Mayweather built himself up to the position he currently enjoys. And this brings him some very unique perks. One such is shopping at luxury brands after store hours.

Floyd is all about extravagance and the specials. Thus, he is not shy to admit that his position brings him special treatment. A video of ‘Money Mayweather‘ made a run on social media where he explained how someone of his stature shops at unique hours. Special privileges are allotted to the ones who can afford them, and Mayweather certainly qualifies for them.

” See you gotta realise. I shop when nobody else is at the store, except for my crew,” Mayweather says in the video. He went on to show the site and it looked closed. Nevertheless, Mayweather has special privileges. ” But I shop whenever I want to. Special hours. Come with me,” said Mayweather.

Mayweather walked inside, followed by the cameraman shooting him. They went inside one of the trial rooms of the luxury store. There Mayweather turned his duffle bag upside down to reveal the hoard of cash he had with him—bundles of money in $100 bills. “Special hours, we shopping now,” Mayweather said and smiled.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. made headlines for his extravagant spending spree during his recent tour in Africa. Allegedly, he dropped a whopping $7 million at a Gucci store in South Africa, flanked by his security guards. Unsurprisingly, Mayweather’s lavish lifestyle has once again drawn criticism from all over the world.

However, this is not the first time he faced scrutiny for his extravagant purchases. Just three months ago, the 46-year-old had to deny spending $1 million on a diamond-encrusted hat publicly. Mayweather’s Motherland tour, was aimed to give fans in Zimbabwe and South Africa the chance to meet and dine with the boxing legend.

However, the tour faced broader criticism. Some fans in Zimbabwe expressed skepticism about his intentions. They chanted “Mayweather mbinga” (Mayweather the rich guy). This implies he might be driven by pursuing a big payday rather than genuine connections with his admirers. However, it would be better for people not to read too much into the life of Floyd Mayweather.
