One such rivalry that captured the attention of millions was between boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. and MMA superstar Conor McGregor. However, during one of these interviews, something unexpected happened that left Mayweather completely baffled.
Mayweather made an appearance on the popular talk show, The Jimmy Kimmel Show, where they discussed several topics. Furthermore, in the interview, Kimmel asked Mayweather about a fighter’s mentality and the way they perceive their opponent. Subsequently, Kimmel began to ask about Mayweather’s sentiments about the opponents he faced before and after the fight.
While asking this question, Kimmel mainly brought up two of Mayweather’s most notable opponents, Manny Pacquiao and Conor McGregor. In addition, Kimmel bizarrely asked Mayweather:

Hence, Kimmel initially asked Mayweather if there was anything that happened after the fight. Subsequently, Kimmel wanted to know if there was a moment when Mayweather started to have some affection for his opponents. Kimmel’s questions tried to delve into the psychological perceptions that Mayweather has of his opponents.
However, the talk show host quickly made his questions satirical by asking Mayweather a bizarre question. Furthermore, in the interview, Mayweather stated that he likes Pacquiao but doesn’t like McGregor.
Conor McGregor reacts to Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao’s rematch
The fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather is one of the biggest in recent history. Subsequently, Pacquiao has recently announced a rematch during his New Year’s address in Japan, hinting at another fight against Mayweather later in the year. However, Pacquiao’s latest fight announcement didn’t impress McGregor at all.
During the main event of Rizin’s huge annual tentpole show, the 39-year-old Pacquiao announced the rematch with ‘Money.’ While the news is very exciting, it received a relatively quiet response from the arena crowd and fans around the world.
The story continuation of the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao match also got the attention of an Irish boxing star. Subsequently, McGregor reacted to the news by throwing shade at Pacquiao and stating that this was a lesson in how to not announce a fight.
