In the aftermath of Jake Paul vs Hasim Rahman Jr.’s fight cancellation after Hasim was unable to make the contractual 200lbs weight limit. A lot of back and forth between the two has been going on social media. Both the fighters blamed each other for the fight cancellation. This time around it’s Hasim Rahman Sr. who shared his thought on the fight cancellation and The Problem Child.
The Problem Child was earlier scheduled to fight Tommy Fury on August 6 in MSG, New York. After Fury pulled out of the fight due to visa issues, Hasim Jr. stepped in to fight the former YouTube star. However, the fight was canceled as according to Paul, Hasim was unable to make the 200lbs weight limit. Hasim(12-1), a professional boxer was considered the first real challenge for Paul in his boxing carrier.
Rahman Sr. (50-9-2-1), the two-time Heavyweight champion is a retired boxer. After a successful carrier, he hung up the gloves in 2014. He competed from 1994 to 2014, during the time he held the unified WBC, IBF, IBO, and lineal titles. His son Rahman Jr. was scheduled to fight the former YouTube star on August 6 at MSG in a bout that has been canceled.

Hasim Rahman Sr claims Jake Paul was scared to take the fight
After the cancellation of Paul vs Rahman Jr., the former champion gave his thoughts on the fight. In an interview given to TMZ Sports, the former champion discussed how The former YouTube star is fooling everyone. His comments on his son not being able to make the agreed-upon weight as well. He also offered to fight both the Paul brothers, back-to-back.
Upon being asked by the interviewer if he wants to step in there to take care of business, “It seems like the champ wanna get in there and take care of business with Jake Paul, that might make a lot more, even more money.”
Rahman Sr. replies, “How bout this right, I don’t know what commission was sanctioning this, but if somebody was sanctioning this, I would fight Jake and Logan back-to-back, right? We could go eight rounds a piece, neither one of them would make eight rounds but we could sanction them for eight rounds a piece and I promise you if I don’t knock Jake and Logan out, they win.”
