The spectacle of Knockout Chaos featuring Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou went down successfully at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia. Coming in with confidence from his fight with Tyson Fury, Ngannou looked forward to a leap in his boxing career. But Joshua knocked him out and put his boxing aspirations to rest. As such, the former MMA champion reflected on the knockout and revealed how he felt.

At the post-fight press conference, Francis Ngannou reflected on the knockout blow. As such, he simply joked about it and stated he didn’t even feel it. As such, he was in good spirits and even continued the joke, wondering whether that’s how knockouts were supposed to feel. Here is what he said:

I didn't feel the punch. I think that's what the knockout is about. I don't feel any pain. That's how I know I was knocked out.

Also, Francis Ngannou congratulated Anthony Joshua on the win and credited him as someone special since he did something Tyson Fury couldn’t do – knock him out. As such, this was the MMA fighter’s first knockout loss in his professional combat sports career.

Francis Ngannou has currently lost both his fights in boxing and was in a difficult position. As such, he hinted at two possible pathways for him: return to his MMA career or persist with another boxing matchup. On the other hand, Anthony Joshua is expected to face the winner of Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk for the unified heavyweight title.

Anthony Joshua has halted Francis Ngannou’s budding boxing career by handing the Cameroonian a knockout loss. The visual of the knockout looked brutal, which led many to wonder about Ngannou’s future in boxing. As such, ‘The Predator’ restated all those speculations and revealed his potential future plans.

As an immediate plan of action, Francis Ngannou stated he would rest up and process the defeat for now. However, he affirmed that he wasn’t finished with boxing and that he would return in the future. Here is what Ngannou said:

As for right now, I think I'm going to go home, get some rest, process what just happened. This has been a hell of a day, since this morning, I'll process it and then see what's the next step - Maybe MMA. But, you can be sure that I'm not done here (Boxing). Absolutely not! I'm not done.

With Francis Ngannou’s signing with the Professional Fighters League, one could expect him to make his promotional debut later this year. Also, as per PFL’s early announcements, he will face the current champion Renan Ferreira. However, one has to wait and see how the career of ‘The Predator’ unfolds.
