Former UFC champ Francis Ngannou and the famous soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo use a similar method for their post-performance recovery. Simultaneously, the two had their first encounter because of this similarity and spent some quality time together. After meeting Ronaldo, ‘The Predator’ also appeared on former NFL star Shannon Sharpe‘s YouTube podcast on the Club Shay Shay, where they discussed their encounter.

Francis Ngannou revealed being happier to have met him than the luxurious watch. According to Ngannou’s words on the matter, he enjoyed the meeting more than the present Ronaldo gave him. This is what he said:

Gifts are not always what someone gives you. I think it’s the time. He was standing next to the pool and talking for 40 minutes at least and I think that was more than the watch.

According to the Cameroon native, Ronaldo also gave him tips on how to improve his public image. This proved a huge advantage for The Predator before his fight with Tyson Fury happened. During the two-hour chat, Sharpe and Ngannou discussed various topics, including Ngannou’s illegal immigration to Paris. Ngannou described his ordeal in detail, describing his first escape as ‘a nightmare.’

Subsequently, Nagnnou told Sharpe that he had ‘deep scars’ on his body from barbed wire from his first unsuccessful escape. Furthermore, Ngannou made six unsuccessful attempts and finally succeeded in leaving Cameron during the seventh attempt.
