Billionaire boxer Floyd Mayweather is arguably the best contender in the sport. Since his retirement, the fighter had been accepting exhibition fights against YouTubers and influencers in a money fight. All of them, as predicted, have Floyd winning without breaking a sweat. However, his recent bout against a mafia family member did not go as planned.
Floyd Mayweather’s recent fight was against John Gotti III. He is the grandson of the infamous John Gotti of the Gambino crime family. This was set to be another bout in Mayweather’s bag and emerge effortlessly victorious. Although the fight seemed like it was going his way, the circumstances did not allow the fight to be amicably settled.
Upon the fight being stopped in the sixth round by the referee, Gotti proceeded to disobey the commands and attack Floyd Mayweather. As soon as the illegal punches were thrown, the entourage from both teams stepped in, ultimately causing a stir in the boxing ring. Backstage, a member of Floyd’s TMT team allegedly sucker punched a member of the Gotti team. This caused a massive fight outside the arena.
This had fans in splits. On Twitter, this topic had been trending for a long time and fans are clowning both teams for the fights. Since the Gambino crime family is a feared name in America, Floyd Mayweather’s team member was made fun of for his ignorance.

The Floyd Mayweather vs John Gotti III bout ended in a disaster. Following the stoppage of the fight, Gotti proceeded to throw punches in anger due to the calling. The onstage ruckus was not the only chaotic fight that took place. Offstage, two members of respective teams traded blows. Fans reacted to this moment by making fun of the entire situation. Since his retirement, Floyd Mayweather’s exhibition bouts have always been critiqued by boxing purists. The billionaire fighter proceeds to take on YouTubers and celebrities for the money fight. The fight against John Gotti III seemed to be the most chaotic one out of them all.
