Jake Paul feels let down by Nate Diaz‘s cool-headed attitude during fight promotions. The days go by and the eagerly awaited boxing match approaches. Diaz will make his professional boxing debut in August. His debut comes in the wake of his UFC departure.
Diaz is a UFC veteran. He was able to elude the promotion after a fruitful career with the UFC. This ultimately resulted in this confrontation with Paul. Due to his no-nonsense demeanor and fearlessness Diaz has earned a reputation. However, Jake feels he fails to bring this attitude with him in their fight promotions. The full force of Diaz’s aggression hasn’t yet been applied on Paul. At their first press conference, Diaz was cordial and even praised Paul’s transformation from a YouTuber to a boxer. Diaz has avoided Paul’s provocations on social media during the build-up to the fight, leaving Paul dissatisfied with the lack of acrimonious exchanges.
After venting his anger, Paul said, “That’s what I wanted – that’s why I signed up for this – is to give the people a show and to squash this beef”. “He talked a lot more sh*t to me before we signed up to fight,” Paul told MMA Junkie. ” So, he’s kind of being a b*tch in that sense. I expected more out of him,… I expected him to carry that gangster attitude…” But I’m used to carrying these promotions. It’s no different in this one,” he said.
Despite Nate Diaz‘s restraint, Paul is nonetheless confident in the event’s outcome. There is still a chance for a fireworks show, since there are two strong personalities competing. There are still more than two weeks until fight night. Paul believes the pair’s interactions in the days leading up to the fight will draw in more viewers.
Jake Paul speaks on people’s interest in the fight and the new ten-round clause
Given that ticket sales for the fight are already surging, Paul anticipates significant interest. The average ticket price is higher than it has ever been for any of Jake’s previous fights. Paul believes the matchup might do better than expected, especially in light of Diaz’s superstar status. He has vast experience and a history of selling millions of PPVs throughout his career.
The change in the number of rounds since Paul vs. Diaz’s scheduling is one unexpected development. Jake Paul now faces a more significant challenge as the fight, which was originally for eight rounds, was extended to ten. Jake reveals that Diaz requested the change because his team thought his better cardio would give him the edge in a longer fight. Paul accepted the change, eager to take on the challenge. Given Diaz’s endurance and ability to withstand damage, it could potentially favor him in the later rounds. However, Paul thinks the prolonged duration will make the fight more exciting.
The boxing community is getting more and more excited about the fight between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz. The competing fighting philosophies and personalities ensure an exciting match that captivates spectators and creates an iconic moment in the combat sports world.
