It is not a Jake Paul fight if the ‘Problem Child’ does not come up with a ridiculous bet for his opponent. Tommy Fury, like all of Paul’s previous opponents, was faced with an interesting decision to make.
YouTuber-turned boxer, Jake Paul has finally decided to step up and fight against a professional boxer. The YouTube sensation will take on the younger brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in a PPV boxing match held in Saudi Arabia. There is no doubt both fighters will make a fortune in this competition.
With the fight agreements already signed, Jake Paul has proposed an interesting bet to Tommy Fury. “If you win, I’ll pay you double what I’m paying you already. But if I win, I take everything that I’m paying you,” said Paul to the Fury brother on stage. “Delicious,” said Tommy the moment he heard this offer.
Along with Tommy, the boxer’s father, John Fury, and brother Tyson Fury, the crowd gave their nod of approval. Fury Sr. in fact, asked for this deal to be done in writing. The two fighters also had to be separated while trying to shake hands after agreeing to the bet.
After being canceled twice, Jake Paul and Tommy Fury finally fight each other
Tommy Fury and Jake Paul are all set to take on each other in the boxing ring on 26th February. The fight will take place at Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia and will be live on Pay-Per-View. The two boxers were previously scheduled to fight each other two times but failed to materialize.
In 2021, the Fury brother was scheduled to fight Paul but he pulled out of the fight due to injury last moment. The ‘Problem Child’ went on to fight former UFC welterweight champ, Tyron Woodley instead. The two were again booked to fight in 2022 but due to visa problems, Fury had to pull out of the fight.
The two are finally set to fight each other in Saudi Arabia. With the first press conference kicked off, fans are starting to give in to the hype of the two boxers. Paul is 6-0 in his boxing career with 4 KOs while Fury, on the other hand, is also undefeated with 8-0 record.
