Francis Ngannou stunned the whole world with his performance against the boxing legend Tyson Fury. As such, Joe Rogan bashed the boxing judges for robbing Ngannou of his victory. Further, he ardently praised the Cameroonian. Fighting Fury was supposed to be Ngannou’s toughest test, but it was the other way around.

The famous podcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan praised Ngannou for his power and temperament. He believed that Ngannou won that fight despite the judges giving the win to Tyson Fury. Rogan explained the look in Fury’s eyes when he was knocked down as a state of shock. Here is what Joe Rogan said:

According to Joe Rogan, Francis Ngannou fought one of the best boxers in the world and came out on top with flying colors. Ngannou is known for his monstrous power but Rogan mentioned that he not only had the power but he was intelligent enough to deliver that power in pressure situations. This made him stand against the best boxer in the world on his debut.

Francis Ngannou lost the fight via split decision. Even though he lost, many including Rogan believed that he had done enough to get the victory.

Francis Ngannou was displeased about the illegal blow that Tyson Fury landed

The former UFC champion Francis Ngannou’s fight against the current WBC champion Tyson Fury was a global success. It was the greatest crossover fight in combat sports history. Fury won the fight by a razor-close split decision. Now, Ngannou is frustrated at the referee for not deducting a point for Fury’s illegal elbow shot.

The fight was pretty close until the very end. Anyhow, in the sixth round Fury landed an elbow on Ngannou which propagated a lot of controversy. We do not know whether it was intentional or unintentional from Fury, but it is illegal to throw an elbow in boxing. However, Ngannou believed that a point should’ve been taken away from Fury. Here is what Ngannou said:

Francis Ngannou further posted the video of Fury hitting him with an elbow and said that, unlike the Superman punch he threw, this elbow was illegal. Many believed that Ngannou’s path to victory was only through a knockout. But here he went the distance and almost won the fight.
