During one such podcast, Rogan’s guest talked about how Manny Pacquiao’s coach revealed that the fighter held back against Miguel Cotto. “Manny Pacquiao did that to the great Miguel Cotto, he did that it by the third round. He figured him out and you can see, Freddie Roach screaming you know, knock him out. Freddie after the fight said, he didn’t want to knock him out. Didn’t wanna hurt him.  Because he was like,’ get him out of here , I don’t want to be mean.”

According to the guest, Pacquiao completely understood Cotto’s game plan and was systematically destroying him. At that moment, when his coach, Freddie Roach, asked the fighter to knockout Cotto, Pacquiao refused to hurt his opponents.

Rogan was really surprised by the information and couldn’t believe what he just heard. The UFC color commentator mentioned that, given his ability to fight and killer instincts, Pacman was a very nice individual as a person.
