WATCH: Logan Paul brings out Chris Hansen in press conference ‘To Catch A Predator’ in Dillon Danis after leaking pictures of fiancée Nina Agdal

The Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis matchup has built on some bizarre notes. The buildup had seen squabbles, name-calling, internet posting and altercations. But during the Misfits Boxing: The PRIME Card pre-fight press conference, Paul brought out Chris Hansen in his corner. Hansen, the host of the popular television media  “To Catch a Predator,” was brought on as a low blow to Danis.

The Bellator star had resorted to internet trolling Paul and his fiance to promote the fight. “On your personal phone, you have an entire gallery of a woman you’ve never met before. That’s weird. That’s not normal behavior,” said the YouTuber and boxer at the conference. “You’re a stalker, you’re a cyberbully. In fact, Dillon, you’re a predator.” On the topic of the coming matchup, Paul promised to catch a predator.

Hansen rose in popularity with his famed television shows NBC’s Dateline and To Catch A Predator, where he conducted sting operations. The directive of the show aimed to catch online predators and offenders in the act. Paul had brought him on to throw shade on Danis, on trolling his fiance Nina Agdal. When Hansen was brought on stage, Danis credited the strategy casually with being caught off guard.

The two are to fight on Saturday at AO Arena in Manchester, England, in the co-main event of Misfits Boxing: The PRIME Card. The fate of the matchup is, however, not consolidated yet. At the press conference, Danis attacked Paul on the scene. He threw a microphone at the boxer after having faced the same. Logan was bloodied, and the fight might not happen after all.

Logan Paul and Dillon Danis finally faced off, but not in the ethical sense of the game. After the Misfits Boxing: The PRIME Card pre-fight press, the duo did not pose for the camera. Instead, Danis attacked Paul with a microphone after Paul threw one at him. The security personnel took them away from the stage immediately.

Paul bled after the attack. Announcer and KSI’s manager and co-owner of Misfits Boxing, Mams Taylor, did not primarily have any updates on the matter. Sources have, however, assured that the matchup remains good to go at the moment. There have been no official statements from Paul’s side or from the Athletic Commission on whether Paul could fight.

Danis, however, took to X after the narrow squabble. Posting a picture of a trail of blood, he warned his opponent in the harshest terms following it. Fans of the MMA world have also reacted to the matter. Most of them unanimously agreed that the matchup might just get canceled. Recently, Charles Oliveira pulled out due to a cut. Similarly, Logan could also withdraw.
