Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez VS Jermell ‘Iron Man’ Charlo is being hyped as an ‘undisputed vs. undisputed’ fight. The title of undisputed will be taken away from one of them after the end of the match. Furthermore, people are speculating that Charlo will likely be stripped of one of his belts. Amid this Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight champion of the world, has changed his tune on the upcoming undisputed title fight.

Canelo is the four-belt 168lb champion, making his third defense. While Charlo is the four-belt 154lb champion, who is moving up two weight classes to take on Canelo. In an interview with ES News, boxing legend Mike Tyson said he ‘really liked Charlo’ before he ever met him. “I like Charlo, I liked him a lot before I saw the energy at the press conference. Some fans on social media suggested that Charlo looked uncomfortable on the big scene, many disagreed. He certainly did not look like a two-weight champion. However, such predictions will not discourage the 25-year-old, who has announced his three-fight-plan. This hints at his intentions to move back down to Super-Welterweight following his ascension to Super-Middleweight.

Tyson’s most underappreciated knockout of all time came against Larry Holmes. The best heavyweight Tyson had ever faced, and it helped him fulfill a vow he had made to Muhammad Ali to avenge him.

Tyson was just 21 years old when he knocked Holmes out in the fourth round of their ill-tempered fourth-round heavyweight championship fight in 1988. It was Tyson’s fifth heavyweight title defense. It’s important to note that no other heavyweight, before or since, has been able to match Tyson’s performance. Holmes has fought some incredibly powerful opponents, but only ‘Iron Mike’ has been able to knock him out in his 75 fights.

Throughout his ups and downs, Tyson ended up going on to become one of the greatest boxers of all time. But his stunning win over a fellow heavyweight champion is something that’s often forgotten, and it only looks better with age.
