Mike Tyson is one of the greatest heavyweight champions to emerge from the sport of boxing in the last century. Furthermore, Tyson also became the youngest boxer to become the world champion at the age of 20 in 1986. Subsequently, Mike Tyson became one of the most well-known and prominent figures in the world after his accomplishment.
In addition, Tyson had the infamous and notorious title of “Baddest Man on the Planet” because of how dangerous he was. Inside the ring, Tyson was an absolute force to reckon with and had devastating punching power to knock out opponents. Tyson dominated his opponents with his ferocious fighting style, incredible defense and head movement, which made him well known. Furthermore, Tyson, at the age of 44, once appeared on the Italian version of Dancing with the Stars.
Tyson shocked the Italian fans and the world by dancing with an Italian star on the famous television show. Surprisingly, Tyson did not embarrass himself, danced quite well, and even lifted the girl midair during their dance. The world has limited its perception of Tyson to his violence and his athlete’s persona. However, Tyson actually possesses great intellectual and sensitive qualities, and we can observe this through his early love for pigeons.
Furthermore, Tyson threw his first punch after a bully killed one of his pigeons in front of him. Hence, Tyson’s sensitive side and love for pigeons propelled him into violence from an early age.

Mike Tyson’s first profesional loss
In 1986, at the age of 20, “Iron Mike” achieved the title of Heavyweight Champion of the World. Subsequently, he was able to dominate the heavyweight division for several years with his devastating KOs. However, in 1990, Mike Tyson lost his first fight in one of the greatest shocks of all time.
Furthermore, before his loss, Tyson was supposed to match up against Evander Holyfield but he faced Buster Douglas instead. Subsequently, most fans assumed the fight would be a piece of cake for Tyson and a warmup for the Holyfield fight. Initially, it became clear that the fight would not go as easily as expected. At one point, Tyson was able to push Douglas to the corner and damage him. Subsequently, this led to Douglas going down.
However, Douglas was able to beat the count, get up, and make an epic comeback. Douglas created one of the greatest upsets in boxing by knocking out Tyson.
