In his prime, Tyson had a certain aura that would instill fear and respect among other people. Furthermore, Tyson stated that people have bullied and abused him for most of his life. Hence, once Tyson became a scary man, he embraced that identity and relished it to a certain extent. Subsequently, Tyson stated, “I’ve been bullied and picked on all my life. Francis Ngannou and Mike Tyson met four years ago
The promoters have set Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury to fight on October 28, 2023, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The cross-over event will be Ngannou’s professional boxing debut, and he will be facing the WBC heavyweight champion.
Furthermore, for the fight, Ngannou has acquired Mike as his trainer for the bout. In a strange twist of fate, Ngannou will have Mike Tyson in his corner as he fights Tyson Fury, who was named after Mike. Ngannou revealed in the Joe Rogan Experience podcast that he and Fury have been discussing their fight for four years. Furthermore, Ngannou stated that he first met Mike at his podcast Hotboxin with Mike Tyson four years ago.
In addition, Ngannou asked Mike Tyson if he would train him if he fought Fury, and Mike apparently agreed. Recently, Fury mentioned that he understands that this is business, but he felt bad that Mike didn’t train him.
