Jake Paul and Mike Tyson broke the internet with the news of their potential clash in the boxing ring. Now that everything is official and seemingly going on schedule, Tyson’s coach made some comments about the fight.
Mike Tyson‘s coach Rafael Cordeiro recently did an interview with MMA Fighting. There, Cordeiro talked about what he thought would happen in the ring between the two fighters.
Mike has such heavy hands, and it will be impossible not to touch Jake. Jake will feel Mike’s hands, there’s no other way, and that’s when we’ll have an idea on how the fight will go. It’s going to be interesting to see.Rafael Cordeiro via MMA Fighting

Rafael Cordeiro is confident that Tyson will win his upcoming fight against Jake Paul. However, he does not expect it to be an easy fight. Cordeiro complimented Paul saying that he is a good boxer who is not afraid to fight. However, he believes Tyson’s heavy hands will be too much for Jake to handle. He also thinks that the pressure of fighting in front of a large crowd will get to Paul.
Tyson and Paul will fight this July at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Cordeiro said that he expects the fight to take place under professional rules. He said they were going to fight like they always fight and were not going to do anything different. The fight is set to be one of the biggest pay-per-view events this year.
Chael Sonnen accuses Mike Tyson of faking training videos
Former UFC star Chael Sonnen criticized Mike Tyson for allegedly faking training videos for his fight against Paul. The video showed Tyson throwing hard combinations at Rafael Cordeiro who was wearing pads. Sonnen commented on this and said that Tyson should “splash water on his face and T-shirt first” if he was going to spend five seconds hitting mitts to make the audience believe he was doing a training session.

Sonnen and others have criticized the fight because of the significant age gap between the two fighters. the 27-year-old Paul is 31 years younger than Tyson, who is 57. A doctor has reportedly warned Tyson of potential health risks if he decides to participate.
This is undoubtedly one of the most interesting matchups in boxing in a while. The Tyson-Paul fight will be the first boxing event to air on Netflix. It will be interesting to see what happens this July inside the boxing ring.
