Jake Paul is set to take on Nate Diaz in a rematch in December. The two recently fought in August, where Paul came out the victor via unanimous decision. A rematch was on the cards, but fans never expected it to occur within 6 months of their first fight.
Nate Diaz posted the fight announcement with the caption, “Rematch wit this scared b*tch.” Diaz, in typical fashion announced the fight while belittling his opponent. The announcement is ironic considering Paul beat him convincingly in their first match. Irrespective of the outcome, fans seem excited about the prospect of their rematch.
Both fighters initially fought each other in a crossover boxing match at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, on August 5. Subsequently, the bout was in the cruiserweight division and went on for an exciting 10 rounds. In addition, Paul secured his victory via unanimous decision and held his own against the legendary MMA brawler.
In the fight, Paul emerged as the dominant force, and Diaz lacked experience since it was his boxing debut. However, many people felt that Diaz was not taking the fight seriously and was not intimidated at all. Furthermore, they have not announced whether the rematch will take place inside a boxing ring or the octagon.
