A lot happened at the press conference for The fight between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz. A journalist from Jake Paul’s Betr Media tried to roast Nate Diaz but it all backfired when things got a little too personal. Derek from Paul’s company prompted Diaz and stated he himself was a boxer and wanted to be on the undercard of the Paul vs Diaz fight. The reporter also added that he was looking for a dance partner and if his brother Nick Diaz was available.
However, Derek was too disrespectful during his call out and incurred the wrath of Nate Diaz.“Nate, I’m actually a boxer myself and I’ve been trying to get into this undercard. I am just wondering if you think I could fight your brother Nick. If he’s anything like you, I think I’d beat his fu*kin as.” said the reporter from Betr media.
The former UFC fighter did not hold back and threatened Derek for his insolent behavior. “Brother, what are you just gonna walk around the streets or some sh*t? You know all my homeboys see you right now? That was stupid, yeah, that was stupid. Hey Derek from Betr Media, stupid as motherf***er.” said Nate Diaz. Thankfully the situation did not escalate any further and the event progressed normally.
Jake Paul intervened and personally apologized to Nate Diaz, for Derek’s behavior. Paul also took responsibility and stated that he will be firing the rude reporter from his company.
