“100 per cent, let’s make it happen,” newly retired Amir Khan desires for an exhibition fight with Floyd Mayweather

Amir Khan- Floyd Mayweather
Seems like Amir Khan has been done with the competitive aspect of boxing, his fighting spirit is not extinguished yet. The former Junior Olympics champion, the Olympic silver medalist and the former world pro-boxing champion at welterweight, lightweight and light-welterweight announced his retirement from professional boxing not too long ago cementing the aforementioned achievements as a legacy with a record of 34 wins and 6 losses, 21 wins via knockout.
Khan was then last spotted in public attending an exhibition boxing event where fellow retired boxer, the undefeated Floyd Mayweather was seen headlining the event fighting against Don Moore. Mayweather retired back in 2017 after his last professional bout against UFC megastar Conor McGregor. Mayweather retired with a perfect record of 50-0 with wins over the likes of Oscar De La Hoya, McGregor, Manny Pacquiao, Canelo Alvarez and many more.
Amir Khan finds out that Floyd Mayweather “needs a real challenge”

After the end of the aforementioned exhibition boxing event that also starred former UFC middleweight champion and the longest reigning middleweight champion Anderson Silva, Khan had something major to get off his chest and once he did, we can only interpret it was quite a huge thing going on his mind.
“We saw the event today, I think Floyd needs a real challenge,” said Khan to videographer Azizdxb after watching Mayweather dominate previous sparring partner, retired undefeated professional boxer, Don Moore, last weekend in Abu Dhabi. “We should do it, 100 per cent guys, let’s make it happen. I’m calling him out. Either hit me up or hit my brother up,” Khan concluded. [h/t DAZN]

Although the exhibition bouts are not scored, who do you think will be the superior fighter inside the ring? Mayweather’s defence is impeccable, but will it be able to withstand the lightning speed of Khan’s offence?
