Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou will clash in one of the most highly anticipated matchups. The duo will headline the main event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Tyson Fury is the reigning WBC heavyweight champion. Meanwhile, Francis Ngannou was the reigning UFC heavyweight champion before he left the promotion and joined the PFL. This clash of the heavyweights has been termed “Battle of the Baddest,” and although it is a professional boxing match, Tyson Fury’s WBC title is not at stake here.

After their arrival at the Boulevard City in Riyadh, the two fighters addressed the reporters and voiced their plans for the upcoming fight. Tyson Fury said

The stakes are quite high, and Francis Ngannou understood this very well. He expressed his satisfaction in finding himself in such a position and revealed that he plans to play to his strengths rather than trying to emulate Fury. Ngannou said 

I can't believe it. Walking from there, I looked at it like, 'The boy made it.'…I didn't try to to replicate what Fury would do. I'm not going in there to play Fury's game. I'm going there to play my own game.

Ngannou revealed that he did not know about Oleksandr Usyk at the time. He revealed that Tyson Fury was the guy he wanted to face.
